Discover the range of styles of presentation and interaction available in our applications!

Simulation Game

The learner in these games will be taking a role in directing a simulated model of a particular context. There will be logical choices involved in the game that would mirror that of a real world situation.

Strategy Game

The learning processes and assessments in this type of content is akin to those found in a strategy game. In a strategy game the player must manage events and processes so that the overall system works efficiently. In a healthcare strategy game triage and treatment of patients must be handled while also dealing with supplies, which rooms are available, what personnel busy handling and which equipment is in use. Without a view of the big picture the system will start to fall apart. This is all good practice for managing a department in the real world.

Trivia Game

The learner is presented with a trivia game. The game is focused on testing knowledge of the user in a series of questions based on a specific domain. Trivia games can be timed or not, but will more often than not, have some numeric score associated with them for assessment.

Unique Game

Unique Games are singular in their approach. Each of the unique games is unlike others. You'll be sure to see something in these games that you won't be seeing in other content.

Virtual Environment

The learner is placed in a virtual environment representing the context in which assessment will take place. Actions that the learner undertakes should be reflected within the virtual environment.

Virtual Patient Interview

The learner in these games will be focusing their skills on conversing and interacting with a virtual patient. The conversation could be directed, with choices branching to different logical conclusions, or it could be broad and open, forcing the learner to investigate problems in an open conversational format.
